Point-of-care Diagnostics
AKA Biotech has worked on the design of point-of-care diagnostic systems. Developing a manufacturing process from small scale to full production is a complex task: it works at bench level but cannot always be scaled up with consistency to production level. Our objective now is to integrate production scale-up and the associated automation into the design process. We want to have a flexible strategy that reacts to the demands and prediction uncertainties associated with the launch of a new product. This means we will have options to quickly react to changes in volume and time-scale forecasting.
